SBI CLERK
SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) exam is conducted by STATE BANK OF INDIA, for the recruitment of candidates for clerical cadre, nationwide. Every year, huge number of candidates apply for this prominent job, in order to be recruited in one of the most prestigious banks in the country.
The work of SBI Clerk is mainly related to client interactions. Candidates recruited as SBI clerks, are designated as, cashiers, depositors and the posts that form the face of a particular SBI Bank branch.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
EXAM PATTERN AND SYLLABUS
There are two stages of the examination for the post of SBI CLERK – Preliminary and Mains. The candidate is expected to clear both in order to secure the appointment letter from SBI.
PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION
It consists of Objective tests of 100 marks, with 3 sections in total, which is required to be completed within 1 hour.
Negative marking: 1/4th of the total marks for each question is deducted for every wrong answer.

Mains Examination
The exam is of objective type.It consists of 4 sections in total, and each section has separate timing, with 190 questions in total, of 200 marks, which is required to be completed within 2 hours and 40 minutes.
