DELHI METRO RAIL CORPORATION (DMRC)

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.is a joint venture company with equal participation from Government of India and Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi. It conducts Delhi Metro Rail Exam, to recruit potential candidates for various posts.

ELIGIBILITY

POSTS EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Assistant Manager – Electrical / S&T / Operations / Stores / Environment / IT
  • GATE Qualified
  • At least 60% marks /equivalent CGPA in B.E./B.TECH in the respective discipline from a Govt. recognized University/Institute

 

Assistant Manager – Fire
  • B.Sc.or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University with one-year Advance Diploma of National Fire Service College of Nagpur or
  • BE(Fire) of NFSC, Nagpur or equivalent.
  • Minimum height – 165 cm, and chest 81 cm – 86 cm.

 

Jr.Engineer – Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Civil / Environment / Assistant Programmer 3 years Engineering Diploma in the respective discipline/equivalent trade from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.
Librarian  B. Lib. with minimum 60% or equivalent CGPA from a gov. recognized university.
Legal Assistant LLB with minimum 50% marks from a recognized Govt. recognized University/Institutes or National Law School.
Fire Inspector
  • B.Sc. (3 years duration) or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University.
  • 1-year fire safety course from a government recognized University.
  • Minimum height – 167 cm, minimum weight – 51 kg and chest – 81 cm & 86 cm.

 

Maintainer – Electrician/Electronic Mechanic/Ref &AC Mechanic/Fitter ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in the respective field.
Office Assistant BA/B.Sc./B.Com. degree from a Govt. recognized university.
Store Assistant Engineering Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Civil or equivalent from a recognized university.

Age Limit

The candidate should be 18 to 28 years of age.

EXAM PATTERN

1. EXECUTIVE CADRE

It consists of 3 stage process for the selection of candidates for the posts of Executive cadre:

  • Computer Based Test (CBT)
  • Group Discussion and Personal Interview
  • Medical Examination

2. NON – EXECUTIVE CADRE

It consists of 2 stage process for the selection of candidates for the posts of Non- Executive cadre:

  • Computer Based Test
  • Medical Examination

SYLLABUS

  • COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT)

This test is common for all the posts. It consists of two papers – Paper I and Paper II

PAPER I

It is of 1.5 hours, comprising 120 questions, each carrying equal marks.

  • For the post of Maintainer-Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Fitter and Ref & AC Mechanic – General English paper is held, candidates should have knowledge of their discipline.
  • Negative marking : 1/3 marks are deducted for every wrong answer.

PAPER II

It is of 45 minutes, comprising of 60 questions.

  • Paper II is not applicable for Maintainers post.
  • Negative marking : 1/3 marks are deducted for every wrong answer.

> GROUP DISCUSSION AND PERSONAL INTERVIEW

This stage is only for posts of Executive cadre, and not for maintainer and Non – Executive posts.

> MEDICAL EXAMINATION

This stage is for all the posts.
